Phase I Steps
Business Planning Start-Up Guide
Before you lunge forward and commit to starting a particular business, I suggest doing some preliminary homework first. By completing this phase, you’ll save time, money, your sanity, and perhaps your marriage (if your single, the other three savings will suffice).
About the Exploration Phase
In the Exploration Phase of the start-up guide, you’ll evaluate a product or business idea and end with a “go” or “no-go” decision.
If you get a “no-go” in any of the below steps, you may want to reconsider your plans.
If you receive a “go” decision, continue on to the next phase.
You’re assessment will consider:
☐ Finding Your “Why”
☐ Explore an Industry and/or Platform
☐ Develop A Theory: Your Customer
☐ Assess the Competition (SWOT)
☐ Test the Viability of Your Product or Service
